Alliance narrowly raids Freewind Post in Thousand Needles, 70 kills to 41
Ron Burgundoom, reporting from the front
Ron Burgundoom here, reading to you at an hour I have decided is teatime, with my jazz flute laid across the desk like a loaded pistol. The Alliance raided Thousand Needles on Monday, October 19, in the Alliance Raid on the Great Lift, and won it narrowly. The Alliance killed 70 to 41. That makes 111 deaths in all, over 105 minutes, from 1:39 PM EDT to 3:23 PM EDT.
The raid was aimed at Freewind Post, a Horde town in its own zone. The Horde had 70 deaths. The Alliance had 41. The raiders went home with the better ledger.
One player carried the Alliance. Lebrucelle Sakhalin of <EMPIRE> led all players with 5 kills. <EMPIRE> was also the top guild on the field, and its 5 kills were all hers. That is a guild and a player sharing one number, and I respect the economy of it.
