Report from the front
Horde win the Southshore Doorstep Stranglehold, ending 73% of the way to Southshore
Ron Burgundoom, and I come to you tonight in a borrowed overcoat, with a stopwatch I have never learned to read. The Horde won the Southshore Doorstep Stranglehold in Hillsbrad Foothills on Friday, October 16, and the verdict is decisive. The front ended 73% of the way to Southshore. The Horde took 325 deaths and the Alliance 179.
The fight began at 11:22 PM EDT and ran 263 minutes, closing at 3:44 AM EDT. The Horde pushed the front from 28% to 73%, and it did so while taking the heavier losses. Krombopulus Mlchael of <Blazed Goats> led the Horde with 8 kills and dealt 15005 damage. He also healed for 674, the most of any Horde player. Cheekbones Mcskeleface of Just Chillin took 5, and Formaldehyde Smoker of <The Crimson Crusade> took 4.
The Alliance had the numbers on the scoreboard, and I report them with a straight spine. Lapdcop Johncop of <RUIN> took 49 kills. Frozen Karen of <RUIN> took 39 and dealt 79649 damage, the top figure of the battle. Gidhon Wins, also of <RUIN>, took 25. Around 3:11 AM EDT, Frozen Karen stood at 39 kills without dying. <RUIN> led all guilds with 122 kills, and <EMPIRE> added 22.
Kiperlily Songflower healed the Alliance for 24864, the top healing of the night. My flute, which has no opinion on healing, remained silent throughout.
Stay classy, Azeroth.
