The rules for using the Wanted addon, the desktop app, this website and the Discord bot. Last updated 30 September 2026.
Wanted: Dead or... Dead is a free fan project for WoW Forever players, run by Christopher Marsh in Florida, USA. It isn't made or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment or Discord. World of Warcraft is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment. By using any part of Wanted you agree to these terms; if you don't, please don't use it.
Free, and as it is
Wanted is free, and it's offered as it is, without any promise that it's accurate, complete or always available. Stats come from what players' addons and apps record, so they can be wrong or missing. It can change, pause or stop at any time, and so can WoW Forever's beta. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for any loss that comes from using it or relying on it.
Play fair
- Don't make up, alter or replay records, or run a changed addon or app to game the boards.
- Don't flood, attack or try to break into the site, the app, the public log or the bot.
- Don't use Wanted to harass anyone, in game or on Discord.
- Use the game within Blizzard's own rules; Wanted doesn't change them.
We may put numbers under review, leave records out, hide names, or block an account or an app key that breaks these rules. How the boards work explains how kills are checked.
Bounties
Bounties are in-game gold, posted and paid by players in the game. Wanted never holds or moves gold: a claim is evidence, and the person who posted the bounty decides whether to pay. Bounties are between players, and we can't settle disputes or get gold back. Never trade real money for bounties or anything else on Wanted.
What you upload
Records your addon and app upload go into the site's stats and the public log, where anyone can read and check them. You let us store, count, show and share them for Wanted, including in the Discord bot and the Daily Brief. The public log can't be changed afterwards; see privacy for what's in it and how to hide a character.
The Discord bot
A server's managers decide whether to add the bot, where it posts and what it posts, and they can remove it any time. Use it within Discord's own terms. Bounties posted from Discord only go live after they're confirmed in game by your own character.
Accounts
You sign in with Battle.net, Discord or Google, and those services' own terms apply to them. Keep your app's computer and your sign-ins to yourself: records signed by your app count as yours.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and using Wanted afterwards means you accept the new ones. Questions: [email protected].
