Alliance win the Tarren Mill Doorstep Stranglehold decisively
Ron Burgundoom, reporting from the front
Ron Burgundoom, undefeated in staring contests with the camera, and freshly dabbed with Eau de Gankmoor behind each ear. The Alliance won the Tarren Mill Doorstep Stranglehold in Hillsbrad Foothills on Monday, October 19, and the victory was decisive. The front finished 72% of the way to Tarren Mill. The Horde had 178 deaths. The Alliance had 82. The fighting ran 93 minutes, from 7:05 PM EDT to 8:38 PM EDT.
The Horde pushed first. They moved the line from 30% to 48% of the way to Southshore in 55 minutes. By 8:05 PM EDT it stood at 55% toward Tarren Mill. Then the Alliance drove them back, and the line kept climbing until the end.
The Horde's best were Huntin Dabunz of <PIRATES X> and Sneaky Thayle of Duly Noted, with 1 kill each. I read those figures aloud to my leather-bound books. The books held their composure. So did I.
Stay classy, Azeroth.
