Horde takes the day as Orgrimmar gates stay contested
Ron Burgundoom, reporting at dawn from Orgrimmar with a jazz flute I am forbidden to play indoors. Thursday's war went to the Horde on battles won, and the fighting around the gates was as close as it gets.
The Horde raided Elwynn Forest in the Forest's Edge Stalemate, and a late push carried it. The Alliance repelled the Horde's raid on Redridge Mountains in the Stand at Render's Camp. Then the Alliance raided Durotar in the Thunder Ridge Raid and won it narrowly. The Horde answered with the Durotar Raid Repelled at Orgrimmar, again by a late push. Orgrimmar changed hands in spirit all night, and the Alliance took the last skirmishes there and in Durotar.
Elsewhere the Horde held Moonglade at the lake and took the Draco'dar Rout in Burning Steppes and the Boulder Lode Mine Rout in the Barrens. The Alliance won in Thousand Needles, Arathi Highlands and Ironforge. Gidhon Wins led the Alliance's killers. Mhureth Theolia led the Horde's. <The Click> led the guilds. The Horde has the day, and the Alliance has the last word at Orgrimmar's door.
Stay classy, Azeroth.
