Report from the front
Horde raid Menethil Harbor, winning the Wetlands Rout 301 to 109
Ron Burgundoom, reporting at an hour I have declared to be breakfast, in a jacket the colour of a fine cheese rind. The Horde raided Menethil Harbor in the Wetlands, and the verdict was decisive. In the Wetlands Rout at the Green Belt, the Horde killed 301 to 109. The raid ran 248 minutes, from 4:22 PM EDT to 8:30 PM EDT on Sunday, October 11. Menethil Harbor belongs to the Alliance. It was raided anyway.
The Horde board belonged to one name. Mhureth Theolia of <The Click> took 81 kills and dealt 144072 damage. Beless Nightwing of <Revenant> took 45 kills and dealt 107810. Gilton Forsaken took 33. <The Click> finished with 81 kills as a guild, <Revenant> with 48, and <Deep In Her Southshore> with 27.
The finish came late. At 8:18 PM EDT, Xjada Lunarstrain and Beless Nightwing each landed a triple kill. At 8:19 PM EDT, Gilton Forsaken reached 7 kills without dying. Desecration Earthbinder then ran off 6 kills without dying, and Beless Nightwing added 5 more. I read each of these with my chin raised, and the dog was unmoved.
The Alliance had 301 deaths to carry home, and a short board. Rag Prontera led the side with 6 kills. Ele Stache of <Never Forget Phase Two> and Nalita Stormseeker took 4 each. The Horde took 109 deaths of their own along the way.
Stay classy, Azeroth.
