Alliance repels Horde raid on Westfall in the Stand at Moonbrook
Ron Burgundoom, reporting from the front
Good evening, Azeroth. I'm Ron Burgundoom, and my moustache has asked me to say it is deeply proud to be here tonight. The news is grave. On Tuesday, September 29, the Horde raided Westfall, and the Alliance repelled them in the Stand at Moonbrook. Sentinel Hill, an Alliance town, was the target. It held.
The fighting ran 98 minutes, from 10:21 PM EDT to 11:59 PM EDT. The verdict was decisive. The Alliance killed 356 to 142. That means 356 Horde deaths and 142 Alliance deaths, 498 in all. I have read many numbers. I have never read one so loudly. I had the lunch of a man who knows destiny, a single boiled pear in a boot, and I regret nothing.
The guild <RUIN> led the way with 126 kills. Gidhon Wins took 40 kills and 31926 damage. Lapdcop Johncop took 34 kills and 33941 damage, the most of anyone. At 11:57 PM EDT, Lapdcop Johncop stood at 34 kills without dying. I... I need a moment. The guild <B l G P P V P> added 42 kills, and <Elfcore> added 17.
Healers win battles too. Kiperlily Songflower healed 10829 for the Alliance and also took 12 kills. For the Horde, Boom Boppow healed 6478. Finessed Chiken led the Horde with 5 kills, and finished on 5 kills without dying at 11:59 PM EDT. THE ALLIANCE HELD. My dog has been told. He did not react, which I take as respect.
