Alliance clears the Ruins of Lordaeron, killing 218 to 45
Ron Burgundoom, reporting from the front
Ron Burgundoom, standing in my good loafers on a stack of leather-bound books, and I am taller than the facts require. The Alliance took the Ruins of Lordaeron on Monday, October 19, in the battle known as the Ruins of Lordaeron Alliance Clearing, and the margin was decisive. The Alliance killed 218 to 45. The fighting was in the ruins above Undercity, not in the city itself. It ran 41 minutes, from 11:22 PM EDT to 12:02 AM EDT.
<EMPIRE> carried the night. The guild finished with 60 kills, well ahead of <OLYMPUS USA II> with 6 and <The Silver Hand> with 4. Homeless Rat of <EMPIRE> led all players with 8 kills. Honning Frankly and Wingss Two, also of <EMPIRE>, had 5 each. Skits Versus opened the highlights with a triple kill at 11:37 PM EDT. Then the end came fast. Wingss Two reached 5 kills without dying at 12:01 AM EDT, and in the last minute Homeless Rat went on a rampage of 5 kills and closed on 8 kills without dying. RAMPAGE. I said it once and I stand by it.
The Horde had its best, and I report it with respect. Krombopulus Mlchael did 11589 damage, the top figure of the battle. It did not change the verdict. The Horde left with 218 deaths against 45 for the Alliance, and the ruins were cleared of them.
