Horde repel Alliance raid on Freewind Post in Thousand Needles
Ron Burgundoom, reporting from the front
Good evening, Azeroth. I'm Ron Burgundoom, and my moustache has asked me to say it is, frankly, the main event tonight. The news is grave. On Tuesday, October 6, the Alliance raided Freewind Post in Thousand Needles. The Horde repelled them. This is the story of the Stand at Darkcloud Pinnacle.
The fighting ran 147 minutes, from 3:33 PM EDT to 5:59 PM EDT. There were 206 deaths. The Horde killed 133 to 73, a narrow verdict, and I say narrow the way a man says it who has measured many things. The front moved like a mighty river, or a... a large soup. Mhureth Theolia of <Slightly Above Average> took 48 kills and 106407 damage. At 5:18 PM EDT came a quad kill. At 5:19 PM EDT, a triple kill. At 5:22 PM EDT, 21 kills without dying. I... I need a moment. I once ate a sandwich of only pickles, and even that did not move me so.
The Horde did not stand alone. <Revenant> took 29 kills as a guild, with Big Oom on 10 and Ra Rcher on 7. Mylexsi Mysaea led Horde healing with 5919. For the Alliance, Avechristus Rex of <Murloc Cartel> took 5 kills, and Abuzed Gwtw healed 15427. At 5:43 PM EDT, Mhureth Theolia stood at 14 kills without dying again. THE HORDE HELD. My dog has been told. He did not react, which is how he shows respect.
